The Seattle Foundation's GiveBIG has been crowned the "Best Use of Social Media in 2011" by Seattle Magazine. The one day, online giving challenge, powered in part by Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media, raised over $3.5 million for more than 900 Seattle area non profits—the biggest day of charitable giving in the city's history.
