Climate change and global warming are complex and sometimes emotional issues that remain tangled in partisan politics, confusion and misperception. Since 1998, Climate Solutions has sought to cut through the intricacies and opposition to advance practical and profitable solutions to global warming.

As it prepared to release a research report detailing the imminent and specific dangers of global warming in the Pacific Northwest, Climate Solutions turned to Pyramid to help generate media coverage.

We developed messages that highlighted key points, scheduled a six-city editorial board tour and provided ongoing strategic counsel. Our efforts resulted in meetings with editorial boards in Portland, Olympia, Seattle, Bellingham, Spokane and the Tri-Cities. In addition to educating editorial board staff about the report’s content, the tour enabled Climate Solutions to build relationships and position the organization as the regional source for news stories concerning global warming and related issues.

More recently, Pyramid helped frame Climate Solutions’ New Energy Solutions program, facilitating discussion groups and creating an info-graphic about community-based demonstration projects that show the development potential related to the smart grid, renewable energy, green building and electric vehicles.
